By using this website you agree to these terms. The content of this website is provided for general information about our services. It does not constitute professional advice, and while we take care to keep it accurate and up to date, we make no warranty that all content is complete, current or error-free — this includes indicative salary information, which reflects market conditions at the time of writing and varies by role, experience and location.

You agree not to misuse this website, including attempting to gain unauthorised access to it, introducing malicious code, scraping candidate or client information, or using content from this site for commercial purposes without our written consent.

3. Our service

EED is an introduction agency. We introduce candidates to clients and clients to candidates; we are not the employer of the candidates we place. The employment relationship, including its terms, is formed directly between the client and the candidate. Registering on this website — as a family or as a candidate — does not create any obligation on EED to make a placement, nor any guarantee of employment or of finding suitable staff.

Placements made through EED are subject to our Terms of Business, which are provided to clients before an engagement begins and which take precedence over these website terms in relation to any placement. Details of our fees, replacement guarantee and refund arrangements are set out in the Terms of Business.

4. Registrations and the information you give us

When you register with us — whether as a client or a candidate — you confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate and yours to give. For candidates, this includes qualifications, employment history, references and right-to-work information. Providing false or misleading information is grounds for immediate removal from our network.

We carry out vetting checks on candidates, including identity, reference and background checks. Clients remain responsible for satisfying themselves as to the suitability of any candidate before entering into employment, and for their own obligations as an employer, including visas, contracts, insurance and applicable employment law in the relevant country.

5. Confidentiality

Discretion is central to how we work. Information shared with us by clients and candidates is treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of making introductions. We expect the same of clients and candidates: information received about the other party through an EED introduction — including identities, household details and terms — must not be shared with third parties or used for any purpose other than the potential engagement.

6. Intellectual property

The content of this website — including text, guides, branding and imagery — belongs to EED or its licensors. You may view, download and print content for your personal use. You may not republish, reproduce or commercially exploit it without our written permission.

7. Third-party links

This website contains links to third-party websites and services, including our jobs board, WhatsApp, and partner organisations. These links are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, EED is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content, or for any acts or omissions of candidates or clients introduced through our service. Our liability in respect of any placement is governed by our Terms of Business.

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. This does not affect the terms agreed for individual placements, which are set out in our Terms of Business.
