Maternity Nurse needed in Budapest – Ref # FMN2016

An international family currently living in Budapest is looking for an experienced and qualified maternity nurse to help with their newborn child, due at the end of June.

This will be the family’s first child, as a result, they require a highly experienced candidate. The parents hope to find an exceptional candidate who can help support them in all aspects. Firstly by establishing a routine for them and their child – feeding, bathing, sleeping etc.

The family would like to employ a highly experienced maternity nurse who has previously worked with high profile families. English is a must and likewise, some knowledge of Russian would be an advantage.

The family is looking for a candidate who can support the parents 24/7 on a rota or possibly 5/2. They are willing to be flexible for the right candidate. Finally, they require an EU passport holder to work with them in Budapest and other possible European locations in the future.

REQUIREMENTS:

English speaking maternity nurse/ nanny, ideally bilingual (English / Russian)
Maternity nurse qualifications
Teaching / Early Years Education qualifications (certified specialist)
At least 2 years’ experience with newborns (private families/nursery)
Well-presented candidate with excellent manners
Active, positive, caring and reliable person with good organisational skills
An understanding of newborns’ development milestones

DUTIES:

First of all, provide full care, ensure a secure and loving environment for the baby girl
In addition, be responsible for the safety, wellbeing and early development of the newborn
Keep the room and wardrobe tidy
Daily morning, afternoon and evening routine, establish sleeping patterns
Prepare milk formula and take care of feeding (if necessary)
Also, provide health and medical (in case of necessity) supervision and constant care to the newborn
English speaking communication and interaction on a daily basis: singing, playing and other language-related games in accordance with the baby’s age
Communicating with the parents on all aspects of the children’ development (mostly in Russian)
Ready to work in sole-charge or shared responsibilities with another nanny
Sole charge of the newborn girl when the parents travelling

SCHEDULE:

24×7 with days off or rota
(live-in) during the first months
Start date – June 2020

JOB BENEFITS:

Salary offer 250-300 Euros per working day
Accommodation, travel expenses to be covered by the client
