A Spanish, Italian or French governess is required to take care of 2 kids aged 4 and 5, working 6 days per week, for up to 10 hours per day. There will be breaks during the day – the kids have preschool 7am – 1pm 5 days per week, and there are other nannies in this fully-staffed household.

The children speak reasonable English and the family is looking for a candidate with Montessori or Reggio Emilia (or equivalent) experience.

The family live in Saudi Arabia with regular travel to Dubai, Los Angeles, London and Paris.

The nanny will have a private fully serviced studio on the family premises.

The start date for this role is mid-September or early October.

The candidate:

The governess should be a native-level speaker of Spanish, Italian or French as well as having good working knowledge of English. She should help the children to improve their foreign language skills through sit down lessons, playing with the children and using different materials, games and techniques suitable for their age. Experience in music or sports would be a big plus. Above all, the right candidate will be a creative, energetic, sporty person with significant experience in teaching.

The ideal candidate will be engaging and responsible; a kind and fun person. The candidate should be flexible and adaptable and a good team player. A driver’s license would be a plus (but is not obligatory).
