Private Chef / Family Cook (Summer Placement) — London — Ref: TC7053
Posted by Elite Educational Development · Temporary, part-time, live-out · 15 July – end of August 2026
EED is delighted to be assisting a warm Dubai family, seeking an exceptional Private Chef / Family Cook for a six-week summer placement in London commencing on 15 July 2026. The family will be spending the summer in London and is looking for an experienced private chef with a genuine passion for nutritious, whole-food cooking to support them throughout their stay.
This is not a traditional private chef role centred around fine dining or entertaining. Rather, it is an opportunity to help shape the family’s long-term approach to healthy eating through thoughtful, flavour-led cooking that brings everyone to the same table.
The household comprises two adults, two teenagers aged sixteen, and two young children aged four. The family’s objective is to move away from preparing separate meals for different family members and instead establish a shared way of eating centred around delicious, high-protein, plant-based, whole-food cuisine that appeals equally to young children, teenagers and adults.
In addition to preparing one nourishing main meal each day, the successful candidate will prepare a selection of healthy fridge staples, wholesome snacks and occasional baked breakfast items for the family to enjoy throughout the day. A key aspect of this assignment will be developing and documenting successful recipes, creating a personalised collection that the family can continue using upon their return to Dubai.
This is a temporary, part-time, live-out position and would suit an organised, self-motivated professional who enjoys working collaboratively with families and combines strong culinary ability with a genuine understanding of nutrition.

- Documenting recipes, methods and ingredient lists to create a practical family recipe collection for use after the placement
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, kitchen organisation and stock management
- Working closely with the principals to refine menus and incorporate feedback
