A professional family based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is looking for a full-time Spanish or French governess to work with their 3 daughters aged 5, 9 and 12.
The candidate will work for 5 or 6 days per week, for up to 10 hours per day as part of a fully-staffed household including two other governesses. There will be breaks during the day – the kids have school from 7 am to 1 pm, 5 days per week, and other tutors are working with the children at intervals. The children speak English as their native language.
The focus will be on educational support, coordinating with school teachers and other tutors, manners and etiquette and taking of the children’s general well-being.
The family regularly travel, often spending time in London, UK. The candidate will have a separate, private room provided at all locations. Interviews for this position are to take place in September for an ASAP start.

The ideal governess candidate should be a native-level speaker of English, possessing a clear accent and outstanding qualifications. Her primary role will be to assist the children in enhancing their language skills. This assistance should encompass structured lessons, playful interactions, and the use of diverse materials, games, and techniques tailored to their age group. While experience in teaching is essential, additional expertise in music or sports would be a valuable bonus. Above all, we are seeking a creative, energetic, and sporty individual. General academic support will also be required across the range of school subjects.
The family seeks a candidate with a professional educational background and experience in VIP roles. They intend to employ the governess for the long term and have her work alongside a team of language-specific governesses.
