A friendly family well-known to the agency is seeking a domestic couple to live-in and take care of their villa in Lake Como, year-round.

Please note – this role is only available to candidates with the right to live and work in Italy/ the EU.

The family’s vision is that the couple will be responsible for the interior of the villa (there is a separate manager for the exterior, taking care of the gardens, etc.) and should be experienced as such.

The male candidate would therefore take care of the scheduling, lighting, heating, water, caring for cleaning staff, security, keeping the kitchen stocked etc. replacing breakages etc. and all other general household management duties.

The female candidate would assist the other 2 cleaners as part of the domestic team, and ideally also cook.

For the majority of the year the family will be away at other properties, and they to visit on 5 or 6 occasions per year. At these times the couple will be on duty 24/7 as required, and will be responsible for additional duties including picking up guests, food service etc. The manager will act as a quasi-butler for these periods.

The candidates should have the right to work in Italy and should have good working knowledge of English. The male candidate should be a driver, at a minimum, and ideally both candidates will be confident drivers.

Accommodation is provided in the annexed staff house (located on the property but separate to the main house), with bathroom, kitchen, etc.

The family is very private so guests and photos of the property will not be permitted for the domestic couple.

Knowledge of Russian or Italian and an understanding of the local area would be a huge plus. The family have dogs.
