An international family based in Dubai is seeking a qualified and experienced nanny or manny to work alongside their current rota manny to provide care and educational support for their 4.5-year-old son with a focus on STEM subjects, specifically Science and Maths.
The ideal candidate should be a native-level speaker of English, Montessori-trained, and have at least 5 years of experience working in a similar role. Additional early childhood education qualifications would be a plus. The family is looking for a positive, active candidate with good energy, who is interested in STEM subjects and able to create a stimulating learning environment for their son.
The boy attends an international school during the day, which will provide downtime during the week. The family expects the nanny to arrange educationally stimulating activities and excursions related to STEM subjects.
The family wants the candidate to set up a stable routine for their son, which includes morning routines (getting ready for school, breakfast, school drop off), evening routines (school pick up, supervising homework, afternoon STEM activities, dinner, story time, bed time), and monitoring during the night.
The family lives in a fully-staffed house and has had nannies working with them in the past. The parents are very active in their son’s day-to-day life and are around to support the children and the candidate when required. The family is seeking an energetic, caring, and responsible person who is First Aid trained, hands-on, reliable, and capable of working independently.
No cooking or cleaning is required, but the nanny should help keep play areas tidy and organized together with the little boy. The family also has a 1-year-old girl, who has her own nannies.
The position is a long-term one, and the nanny will work on a 14 days on/ off rota with the current governor. The role is live-in, and the salary is £250-300+ per day. Travel with the family may be required. Flights provided to and from work to candidates home country.
